You have never tried a high-end mouse have you? The response time, as said before, is not the only major factor of the mouse - these mice are EXTREAMLY sensitive, with very fast movement - I bairly twitch my hand, and can have the pointer across the monitor. Once you get used to the movement, you have very fast and very precise control, and it does make a huge difference in almost any game. FPS do benefit the most from it, but even in Guild Wars, it helps with changing viewing angles quickly when needed.
And your high end keybord? Go take a look at the Razer Tarantula.

Are you serious, to the last comment. lol

While it is certainly inferior in some aspects, the response time & anti-ghosting are well worth it. The re programmable keys & build-in macro support are also very useful.

Although effective, key tweak is far to limited. Forgot to mention the Tarrantula also allows you to move & replace the physical keys easily, without risking damaging the keyboard, as well as storing multiple profiles on the keyboard itself.

No offense or anything... but I wouldn't buy that if I won the lottery tomorrow. I'd sooner a keyboard without fancy screen-buttons that actually LOOKED good.

Bah!
I happen to be left handed!
I'm used to use the mouse with either hand, but really don't like when mouse designers overlook lefties!
The mouse is pretty though...

Clearly it's very subjective.
I think it looks awesome, and yes, it's a little pricy.

No wonder their prices are high though. Being sponsored by razer basically gives you ALL their products (no joke). They are very generous company <3.

The backlit on the logo is quite nice, vanishes when you dont move and lights up when you move and stays lit. lol
.tempted to get a Razer KB...But
.aWaits for a GW KB by Razer...

Id just stick a guild wars sticker on my old mouse tbh, then again to me all mice fell the same after wireless and infa-red (but i got put off wirless mice, seem so unresponsive O_o). Never saw the diffrence between some super gaming mouse and good ol "came with windows 95" style mouse cept looks and price xD.

y would u spend so much money on keyboard, in a couple of days it will be filled with all this crap inside of it lmfao, then go pay 30 bucks for spray and all this crap :S
what mouse do i use? creative!

I use a microsoft mouse that cost me $19 and my laptop.
And I can still prot better than you.
Really....maybe for the top ten starcraft/counterstrike players in the world...it might make a difference....but really...
anything will do, as long as it works.
Some of those fancy keyboards look cool, even if I'm just going to end up typing papers on it anyway and not using the cool features.

Saying that a high res dpi mouse only works in fps games is nonsense.
I had my fun in WoW dragging up my duals and fighting close up with warriors and rogues on my hunter.
They didn't find it fun that I managed to be behind them all the time.
Little clue about how fast those mice are: You can make you character spin fast, so fast that the WoW client crashes.
But since GW differs in movement style, its not such a huge advantage there.
As well keep in mind, that running 3000 dpi with 1000 report rate requires much less physical movement of the mouse.

.... Sorry to admit it, but that even impressed me.
Reminds me of when I managed to load up some old Windows 98 games on my PC and they ran so damned fast they became almost unplayable.

Instead of buying a high sensitivity mouse, why not just, say, turn up the mouse sensitivity? I'll admit that side buttons and the ability to change sensitivity on the fly is cool, but not 75 bucks cool. Maybe $25.
I guess I'll never understand the folks who drop 100 bucks on a mouse, I'm kinda frugal even though I have the money.
